Four stages to learning to drive

Our driving instructors take a four stage approach to learning to drive. The first of these is learning how to control the car: how use the clutch, change gears, move off from the side of the road, stop safely, and more.

The second phase to your driving lessons explores all aspects of the 'Mirrors, Signal, Manouevre' routine and how to use it when turning in and out of all junctions around Nottingham, including roundabouts and staggered crossroads.

The third Phase with your driving instructor is where we broaden your driving knowledge and experience in and around Nottingham; covering subjects such as Pedestrian crossings, overtaking safely, reversing, dual carriageways and country lanes.

The final stage is where we make final preparartions for your practical driving test at one of Nottingham's test centres and conduct a few mock tests to make sure you know exactly what is going to happen on the day of your driving test; which with the correct preparation you can pass first time - regardless of any rumours you may have heard.

Will it take longer for me to pass my driving test?
